Don't gut your bird!Rinse your bird with water to remove any blood on the feathers. Call us to arrange to bring it in to freeze it immediately. If you can't get it to us immediately, KEEP IT DRY. If you can, place it in a nylon stocking being careful not to damage the feathers, then in a plastic bag . If the tail feathers don't fit in the bag, let them stick out and tie the bag loosely. Freeze it immediately, again keeping it DRY. Many birds get ruined soaking in the bottom of an ice chest!
